catching up...

It has been a while and lots has happened since my midway through birthday month-blog entry.
There was Halloween:

Immediately after that, on November 1st to be exact, there was a road trip to the dentist in Mexico. The answer to the question "How was it?" will be answered with: "As good as a root canal in Ciudad Acuna can get! We had fun!" Thank you, Ryan and Carly, for coming with me and holding my hands!

Then, Lauren, Eric and I finally made it to the corn maze at At'l Do Farms - (Texan for "That Will Do") This MAiZE is owned and operated by James and Patti Simpson. This is also their picture that I got from their website. The pattern looks different every year and this year it was this eagle. And believe me, it was not as easy as it may seem, but it was fun getting lost and running in circles like laboratory rats. Just that we had the advantage of being able to tell each other ghost stories for entertainment...

After the corn maze, there was a bungee jumping thing - whatever you call it. Only Lauren and I could go, but we did great! No screaming on Lauren's part. I did scream trying the backward flip, which I managed only to scare myself with it and to convince myself not to try it a second time... After just another birthday I would like to live through Christmas this year, because I am going to visit my friend Allison in Utah!

Okay, since I have to seriously study because the end of the semester is approaching, I will update again soon! In the meantime: fly high!
